Freud about Orgasms

Orgasms, orgasms ... they are so desirable and every time we engage in any solo play or sex session we are awaiting for the little death to come. Especially women, as most of them (70%) are not capable to achieve orgasms during intercourse, especially the vaginal one.

Yesterday I've read a paragraph from Paulo Coelho's book “11 minutes”. For those who didn't read this erotic novel, I recommend it. It's about a Brazilian cute girl named Maria who decided to earn money by “selling” her young body in the famous red light district, in Geneva.

Even though this escort had plenitudes of men around and her sexual experience abound in novelties like BDSM or role playing she has never climaxed. So, she is very upset because of that and the author reveals her inner thoughts and desires to achieve this ultimate pleasure.

Then the idea was revealed through Sigmund Freud's eyes. Freud claimed that a woman can not achieve the vaginal orgasm because of infancy. In his opinion clitoral orgasm is an adolescent phenomenon, and upon reaching puberty the proper response of mature women changes to vaginal orgasms.

What do you think about this idea? According to Freud 70 % of women who can not reach for the Realm of Orgasms during lovemaking are all simply undeveloped?

freud knew next to nothing about women and their orgasms and was arrogant in telling women what they should or should not feel.
