Ancient tradition of an Indian caste: the market for underage virgins

In India in a few kilometers of Taj Mahal at the “market of underage” are sold underage virgins. At the edge of Bharatpura are living 59 families of this cast, for which prostitution – is not an ancient profession, but an ancient tradition. The girls of this cats without any pressure agree to loose their virginity with any man that is willing to pay for that.
The traditional price of a virgin at the market is 100 rupees (about 2.5 American dollars). But the caring parents organize something like an auction and the girl is given to the most generous buyer. The good price – is about 20 thousands rupees (above 500 dollars). There are cases that the parents receive about 40 thousands rupees (above 1000 dollars) for a very beautiful girl.
After the deal is completed the man takes the girl with him. He can enjoy her for several hours or weeks depending on the money he paid. When the man lets go the young putana the celebration begins. The guests are partying celebrating the loss of virginity of a new prostitute and the buyer before saying good buy gives presents to the girl’s relatives.
After loosing her virginity the bediyka (new prostitute) can’t get married and from that point on will be bringing money to the family working as a prostitute: that’s the event that the cast celebrates when the product finds its first buyer.

As an average the bediyka works until the age of 40. As tells the Daily Telegraph that bediyka that has chosen the path of putana doesn’t have enough tome to take care of the daily house work. To have an average income to take care of her family she has to take care of 20-30 clients per day.
